Bought it measured for my chunky Dell G15 I use for work and home. Survives as well as you'd want in the backpack. It's got plenty of room on the edges for cushioning and it's not too hard to get in and out despite the snug fit. The leather is fairly thick, maybe 6oz cuts? It's got a great hand feel, like you'd expect from this kind. I'm really quite happy with my purchase.
